Trinity brace for tough test against Isipathana

Trinity College, in fine form this season, will take on defending champions Isipathana College in the Dialog Schools Rugby Knockouts 2025 President’s Trophy Final on Sunday at the Royal Sports Complex. Both have a proud history in school rugby, and the match is expected to be a closely contested encounter.

Trinity reached the final after beating Zahira College 29-12 in the semi-finals and S. Thomas’ College 24-15 in the quarter-finals, showcasing solid and consistent performances. Supporters from Kandy are expected to turn out in large numbers, anticipating an exciting display of running rugby.

Isipathana booked their place in the final with a 24-17 win over Royal College, following a 24-10 victory against Wesley College. Both teams are stacked with talent and well-equipped to produce a high-quality, hard-fought game.
