It is with great sorrow that we inform you all of the death of Past School Teacher Herath Mudiyanselage D Y Weerasinghe in the early hours of this morning. She is survived by her Husband Ananda Bandara Weerasinghe (ex Central Bank staff), daughter Shermila and sons Chaminda (Australia) and Venura (UK), son-in-law Professor Sarath Kodagoda (Australia), daughters in-law Shalini (Australia) and Dilasha (UK), grandchildren Vinuki, Vihaan, Inhara and Manuki. She was a graduate teacher at Isipathana Colllege, Colombo 5 until her retirement about 10 years ago who taught many students.
Cortege leaves residence at 50/43 Edirisinghe Road, Mirihana for cremation at Mirihana Cemetery at 3pm on Thursday 11th June 2015.
