Isipathana College Hosts “Nethinethera” Media Day

The much-anticipated “Nethinethera” Media Day of Isipathana College was held last week at the NIIBS Convention Centre, Kelaniya, under the patronage of the College Principal, Mr. D. P. Udawattage.

The event was graced by Chandana Sooriyabandara, CEO of Stein Studio Sirasa TV, who delivered an inspiring address encouraging students to pursue excellence in the field of media. His insights and experience left a lasting impression on the attendees.

The highlight of the day was the recognition of Project Chairman Musthaq Hussain, who was honoured as Isipathana College’s Best Announcer for his outstanding contribution to the Media Day.

The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Principal Pradeep Chandrasekara, teachers-in-charge Mrs. Aresha de Silva and Mrs. Zinha Safwan, co-chairmen Zaid Zufri and Dewmin Ayashan, as well as students, teachers, and parents, making it a memorable occasion that celebrated talent, creativity, and the spirit of media at Isipathana College.
